Biology Undergraduate Education

Hi! I’m Ivy, a pre-med senior from Waco, TX concentrating in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a Certificate in Data Fluency. I’m passionate about the intersection of medicine and translational research, and I’m an undergraduate researcher in the Dawson Lab of Cancer Biophysics. I’ve also a UTA for 4 different class in the departments of BIOL, CLPS, and PHYS. I am president of Save a Child’s Heart and co-president of Kidney Disease Screening and Prevention Club, as well as Vice President of Saving Mothers. I’m also part of the Events Board of the Brown Research Club. I serve as a medical assistant and scribe volunteer at Rhode Island Free Clinic and Rhode Island Hospital.
