Amrik Eadara
Biography
Hi everyone! My name is Amrik, and I’m a pre-med senior from Sharon, MA, double concentrating in Health and Human Biology (Mind, Brain, Behavior Track) and Public Health. At Brown, I play on the Brownian Motion Ultimate Frisbee team, serve as Editor-in-Chief of the Brown Journal of Medical Humanities, and lead as a HHB DUG Leader. I conduct wet lab research in the Jayasuriya Lab in the Department of Orthopedics, where I study DLX5 as a potential therapeutic target in the progression of osteoarthritis. I am also involved with clinical research with the Digital Psychiatry Lab at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Feel free to reach out with any questions—whether it’s about double concentrating, navigating pre-med requirements, securing research opportunities, or getting involved in club sports.
