Biology Undergraduate Education

I'm a varsity athlete on the cross country and track & field team, Outreach Director for the Diabetes Link, and a volunteer with Brown Market Shares! I've received both the UTRA and SPRINT awards, and I currently do research in the Global Emergency Medicine Department on miRNAs in breastmilk, and specifically how they differ in underweight women. Outside of school-related activities, I’m enjoy spikeball, pickleball, karaoke, R&B music, and cooking. I've been through the chaos of picking (and frequently switching) my major, figuring out how to reach out and join a lab, and learning how to balance life as both an athlete and a premed.
