Biology Undergraduate Education

Hi everyone! I’m Rocky, I am Senior concentrating in Biology on the Cell and Molecular Track, as well as Geochemistry. I am currently pre-med, hoping to apply to MD/PhD programs next year. I conduct research in the Sobol Lab in the Pathology department, but also spent a year in a geochemistry lab. I am currently the managing editor of the Triple Helix, a student run science publication on campus that you should all read! (And join?). You also might recognize me from Bio 0200, where I’ve been a lab TA for two years going on three. I’ve also spent the last two summers conducting biomedical research as part of the NIH’s SenNet CUSP program, and the NYU SURP. I am super happy to talk about anything you might need guidance for, from classes to internship apps, or to anything else! Don’t be scared to reach out, I love yapping so there’s no such thing as too many questions! I had a peer advisor when I was a sophomore who really really set me up and helped click everything into place for me, so I’m just trying to give back!
